Job Description:

The Program Manager/Project Manager is expected to:

Have the required skills and expertise to build, deliver and support large scale enterprise-wide custom solutions across various industries on big data and machine learning platforms.
Draw upon exemplary logical, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, deep software development experience, and have a passion for creating maintainable, highly reliable and scalable big data solutions.
Collaborate effectively with various disciplines and cross functional teams within Quadratyx and its partners and ensure that our solutions measure up to the highest compliance standards.
Have experience in mentoring and managing elite team of data scientists, big data engineers, database managers, and IT managers.
Be skilled in up-scaling the solutions with the latest and greatest and ever-changing technology landscape in big data and Hadoop ecosystem.
Fit in the role which may require travel within/outside the country and work away from the core development teams.
Participate actively as part of a team/independently in showcasing solutions and closing pre-sale cycles with customers.
Be a self-motivated and passionate development manager who can tackle large complex problems.

Requisites

Education:

Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science from premium institutes like IIT/NIT
Certified professional in project management and Agile methodologies
MBA from premier institution is a plus
Certified in big data eco system components is a big plus

Experience (Years):

Substantive experience in building innovative and complex software. Strong technical credentials, with at least 8plus years of development experience and 5plus years of experience in leading/managing software development teams
Excellent technical and non-technical presentation, communication and inter-personal skills
Ability to fully engage stakeholders, develop trusting relationships with senior leaders and ensure clear communication at all levels
Strong engineering background across multiple data architectures including data warehousing, business intelligence, Hadoop ecosystem, decision systems and related tooling
Deep knowledge of application and infrastructure monitoring tools and technologies

Experience in developing product roadmaps, building and enhancing the maturity of the products
Experience with cloud-hosted solutions and virtualization
Experience with tools and habits used for tracking software development tasks through feature development, implementation, debugging and delivery
Agile/Scrum development experience
Prior experience in building, managing and retaining a team of highly skilled technocrats
Knowledge of architecture principles and methodologies in development of big data solutions
Hands-on experience in related technologies for big data or machine learning
Experience in consulting independently for customer business problem definition and presales activities
Excellent organization, presentation and communication skills
