Job Description
Purpose of the Job/ Role:
Crafting & executing business intelligence solutions.
Key Requisites:
Design, develop, support and maintain business intelligence solutions with the Power BI platform.
Extensive experience in Power BI driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Power BI Services.
Responsible for the design, development, and production support of a range of data visualizations
Understand the business and the data and suggest the best visual treatments for a wide range of scenarios.
Partner with Data Analysts & other teams to deliver optimized visualizations for their audiences.
Strong understanding of SQL or similar database programming technologies and working knowledge in data warehouse design and data mining.
In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL framework.
Experience in creating dashboards, volume reports, operating summaries, and presentations and graphs.
Visualization tool/tools - Power BI mandatory; (Tableau/Qlik), Excel, PowerPoint.

Skills/ Competencies Required
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in developing reports and data visualizations in Microsoft PowerBI.
Experience with PL-SQL and other SQL development.
Experience with other reporting platforms: Crystal Reports, Tableau, Qlickview.
Soft Skills
Communicating ideas clearly verbally and in writing, integrity to never copy or plagiarize intellectual property of others.
Exercising discretion and independent judgment where needed in performing duties; maintaining high professional standards.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline from a well-known institute.
Relevant certifications would be an added advantage.
Minimum 1-4 years of work experience as a Power BI developer in an IT organization (preferably Analytics / Big Data/ Data Science / AI background).
