The Lead data scientist is expected to develop and deploy machine learning models and evaluate their performance; Generate descriptive analytics and visualize data in ways to provide insights.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with data science and engineering teams to help enterprises solve business problems using AI and Decision Sciences
Devising creative analytical approaches to solve business problems
Developing and enhancing algorithms and models to solve business problem
Maintaining all models along with development and updating of code and process documentation
Designing a solution approach, leading a team to deploy and maintain it in production.
Lead a team of data scientists and engineers
Switch between roles of an Individual Contributor, team member and data science manager as demanded by each project
Key Requisites:
Prior programming experience is must.
You have strong fundamentals in math’s, logic, machine learning and deep learning
You should be Comfortable working in programming languages like Python, Julia & SQL
Exposure to ML & DL frameworks Tensorflow, Pytorch, Keras and OpenAI
Cloud concepts and significant hands-on experience with at least one cloud provider. Should be knowledgeable about the pros and cons of the various services and comfortable discussing the tradeoffs with stakeholders.
Strong SQL skills.
Good knowledge of Data science approaches, machine learning algorithms and statistical methods; ETL and Data Engineering pipelines using Spark/PySpark.

Strong expertise (9 or more out of 10) in at least one modern programming language, like Python, Java
Clear end-to-end experience in designing, programming, implementing large software systems
Passion and analytical abilities to solve complex problems

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline from a well-known institute.
Minimum 7 - 10 years of work experience as a developer in an IT organization (preferably Analytics / Big Data/ Data Science / AI background.
